Feedly

FeedlyFeedly is an RSS (really simple syndication) feed reader, and the one I personally chose to adopt after Google Reader retired on July 1, 2013.  In addition to having a clean-looking web-based application, Feedly offers free iOS and Android apps to download and install so you can read all of your news and blog feeds using any of your devices.

RSS readers are a great way to get all of the latest information you care about streamed to one place.  For example, you could pull the RSS feeds for News from the Chronicle of Higher Education, What’s New from the Association of American Universities (AAU), and KU News and be updated in one central location.  Most popular News outlets have RSS feed readers as well as many popular blogs.
